I don’t know what to say. I had an awesome time shooting Melissa. She came ready to deliver and crushed it! Tons of style and confidence. I can’t wait to work with her again. Isn’t she gorgeous? 🤗😊😊 Find her on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/mellliisa. Tell her you saw her on my website 😉

Poems and Paintbrushes had a solo exhibit and I had the honor of capturing the emotions and expressions of the guests that evening.
I’m so happy with how this turned out!! I went out into the rain last night, determined to try my hand at some light trails and I’m quite satisfied with what I came home with!

Self-shooting my portraits means that I’ll be more sympathetic to the needs of my modeling talent when I start working with them more often. I know it’s twice as hard when I’m both the model and the photographer but, it’s very humbling just the same. It’s not easy holding poses while the photog takes that “perfect” shot. I learned that during this shoot.

Not every photo needs to be taken with a Dslr to look great. This was shot on my iPhone 7 and later, lightly edited with Lightroom and Photoshop. I was near a traffic circle. I didn’t have my main camera with me and when I looked up at the sky, I knew I couldn’t let the opportunity to capture it pass me by. This photo is the result of that morning 🙂

I’ve set up a (mostly) mobile studio so I can build my portfolio and service any future clients. These two shots are from the studio. I still have plenty to learn but, still having plenty fun while learning it.
