This a portrait photo from quite a while ago that I just never got around to editing and finalizing until recently. This is definitely one of my preferred angle of capture for self shots. I think it flatters me very much. What are you thoughts on this low key portrait type? Do you prefer high key? Lighter backgrounds? Or do you prefer this look? This is a 1-light mobile setup but you’d never know it from the shot 🙂
Can you feel the energy coming off of this shot?!

I love when I catch a natural smile during a shoot. You can fake a smile but, the real, unprompted ones are so much better ☺️. It’s such a great feeling when you form a connection with the people you’re photographing. It’s one of my favorite things about capturing people. The energy exchange is incredible when you have a good rapport. I can’t wait to start shooting this woman again 😊
